Description
Rustic Portuguese Farmhouse situated in a small rural hamlet between the towns of Santo Estevão and Moncaraphaco. The traditional interior offers a genuine Algarvian experience with its quaint features, and its tranquil setting has an abundance of outside space complimented by a large swimming pool – all creating the perfect retreat hidden away in some of the finest countryside. A 10 minutes’ drive to the nearby villages for shops, restaurants and a choice of gorgeous golden beaches.
Turn onto the gravelled track which leads to the cobbled parking area directly in front of the property and enter a haven of tranquility with this delightfully resotored farmhouse.
FARMHOUSE
This traditional farmhouse welcomes you with an array of nature, trees and shrubs. The entrance opens immediately to a guest cloak and shower room, then onto into the traditional kitchen with its old-style cupboards and marble surfaces, and extends onwards to a cosy nook with dining table. Tucked away at the back of the house are 3 bedrooms including 1 master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a second room with double bed and a third twin bedroom with a large bathroom between. From the kitchen a lovely lounge with comfy sofas and TV leads towards the poolside terraces, with easy access to an al fresco dining patio.
OUSTIDE SPACE
Aside from the cosy interior, the outside living areas are a real treat. The farmhouse is nestled amongst mature gardens with Olive trees, Mediterranean shrubs and other interesting succulents. The rustic gardens hug the farmhouse, with a shady alfresco dining spot where you can enjoy lazy lunches overlooking the pool. Perched behind the house, and encircled by mature trees, the swimming pool water is clean and blue offering the perfect spot for families to enjoy a calming pool day, where sun worshippers can relax around the pool and enjoy sunbeds to soak up the rays with nothing more than birdsong to disturb the peace, and children can splash in and out of the cool, refreshing water until they are exhausted! An upper terrace offers a lovely sunset secret, where adults can enjoy the last of the rays with a glass of wine or two! (But this is NOT recommended for young ones; access is a little tricky and therefore not recommended for ages 7 or under). Overall, this is a super house for a family to enjoy a peaceful and tranquil break together. But if you are looking for modern, shiny and new, then this is not for you. Those seeking a traditional and rustic ambience will revel in this wonderful property and all that it represents.
This is a private accommodation and guests will be able to access all advertised areas and use all advertised facilities. Living accommodation is all on one level and parking is within the grounds, free of charge. The roof terrace is accessed by s small internal staircase.

This charge is levied by the Government, not Smartavillas. You will be informed at the time of booking if you are required to pay this.

Beautiful villa in the countryside. Very quiet and private. Larger than it looks and the pool is also larger and deeper than expected. 15 minute drive to Tavira for provisions. Great purpose built BBQ was heavily used and the kitchen has everything ysee more
Beautiful villa in the countryside. Very quiet and private. Larger than it looks and the pool is also larger and deeper than expected. 15 minute drive to Tavira for provisions. Great purpose built BBQ was heavily used and the kitchen has everything you need. Our family of five were extremely comfortable here and had a most relaxing holiday to wind down following GCSEs and A levels.
