Its cosy décor features a private internal atrium and a shady front patio perfect for al fresco dining, all accompanied by a sparkling swimming pool and gated private gardens. A short walk leads you to wonderful restaurants, artisan shops and the ferry boat to the golden sands and of Tavira Beach Island…all waiting to be explored and enjoyed.
Apartment Polka is a super apartment, ideal for couples and families to enjoy a holiday in the peaceful Condo surroundings of "Terracos de Tavira", with the historical town of Tavira only a short walk away.
INTERIOR
The cosy interior offers its visitors a comfortable stay. With a single level layout, the accommodation flows easily from front to back. From the entrance you are welcomed into lounge diner with comfy seating and matching oak furnishings including a rectangular dining table and chairs. An attractive glass-shelved partition separates the lounge from the kitchen where you will find a large range of utensils and appliances ensuring that home catering is free and easy. Tucked neatly at the back of the kitchen, a door leads to a private internal atrium which has table and chairs, perfect for cool breakfasts or warm evening dining. The 2 bedrooms include a master double room with a private shower room and an adjoining twin bedroom with a shared bathroom with bathtub and overhead shower. splash around all day, and adults can relax on one of the many sunbeds, all just a few meters from the apartment itself.
OUTSIDE SPACE
Nestled at the front of the apartment is a cool and shady patio, with table and chairs ideal for enjoying a sundowner or two overlooking the lovely, green gardens. Wooden decking, grass, mature shrubs and olive trees embrace the sparkling, blue swimming pool which has a pool for the swimmers and a smaller, shallow pool for young children. The condo is securely gated and perfect for children to play safely, with the apartment only a few steps away from the main pool. The enviable hillside position ensure spectacular views from the gardens overlooking the town and out to the ocean.
This is a private accommodation and guests will be able to access all advertised areas and use all advertised facilities. The apartment is ground floor. There are steps within gardens to get to and from the main condo entrance. Parking is directly outside on the street, without a charge.

Apartment Polka was a great stay. We spent 5 weeks there. It was big enough for us to host a dinner party for 8, yet intimate enough for the 2 of us. Well equipped too!

It was a good walk into the centre of town, even with the 118 steps up and down from the complex to the main road. We used Tavira as a base for further travels to Seville and the Albuferia region. If you do not have a car (we had our bicycles) it is easy to walk to all points in Tavira. Uber and taxis are fairly available. The apartment itself suited our needs and the Smartavillas folks are the best! All in all a great vacation spot! |

The apartment was lovely, very well equipped, comfortable, spacious and spotless. The complex was low key and quite, nice pool and just very pleasant overall. Tavira is a lovely town, nicest on the Algarve, will be back!

The apartment is beautifully appointed with lots of natural light. The tv needed sorting but was difficult to use. An instruction manual for all appliances would be very helpful. Rachel was amazing and helped us a lot. Would definitely stay there agasee more
