• Tourist Taxes- Some municipalities within the Eastern Algarve region have now introduced a Tourist Tax, levied by the Government, not Smartavillas. You will be informed at the time of booking if you are required to pay this,

Thanks to Rachel and the team at Smartavillas, we have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at Alfarrobeira apt, Tavira. Right from the start of the booking process, the team were extremely helpful - any queries were dealt with immediately, checkin was very smooth as they had already sorted all paperwork, SEF forms etc, and were very attentive during our stay; a very useful folder of suggestions for restaurants, local areas to visit, activities etc was also provided. The apartment was spotless, very well equipped and within easy walking distance of the centre of Tavira - there are several coffee shops in the immediate area (recommend Venezuela!), Continente supermarket/shopping centre is a few mins by car (also walkable) and the narrow cobbled streets on this side of the river and also across the old bridge, are full of excellent restaurants and places to sit with a glass of wine and people watch! Thankyou Rachel and the team for making our stay so easy - see you next year!!

Apartment looking a bit tired and dated and in need of some attention. The sun terrace was a good size but what isnt in the description is that it isn’t solely for use of the apartment. One section is for another apartment so it’s not completely prisee more
